Hey guys, my laptop is M17X-R2 with single 4870. It seems to keep giving BSOD with atikmdag.sys. but it used to recover by itself most of the time and as time goes by, the crashing occurs more frequently and starting to distort my screen resolution, the startup alien head has lines of red on the right side and gives out little vertical lines (artifacts). when i reached windows and crash with BSOD. even after updating ATI software for 4870 i thought it wouldn't occur anymore, but it did and i decided to reformat my computer. now i couldn't even get to windows for more than 5 minutes without crashing. Can someone help to shed some light please?
