Getting to a tech without service number

To make a long story short I took apart the good ol alienware mx14 to switch change the thermal compound and too my surprise one of the inside/grip part of the screws from the heatsink is stripped obviously from being tightened too intensely when it was first assembled ... I tried a couple of things such as using a elastic band to get more grip and using a flathead instead. However, that didn't work. The whole point is do I really have to put the whole computer back together to get my service tag (the sticker has been lost somewhere due to the adhesive wearing out) and then disassemble the whole thing again....when I get whatever fix is deemed appropriate. Or is there a way I can get to a tech support  so I can enjoy hopefully some benefits of being under warranty without going the hundred yard length to get a number?  or maybe someone knows a awesome way to deal with this problem...
