Four years ago bought a alienware computer. Everything was perfect until I decided to install a SSD. At the moment to update the firmware of the MIO card command center stopped working, the fans began spinning at full speed and the LEDs were not working properly. For all this I had to contact tech service and replace the MIO card.
Recently I acquired another alienware computer but this has a HDD in it. My intention is to place it with a SSD and and do a fresh install in it (rest of the disk will store data). I would like to know the best way to do a clean install to avoid all the problems I had in the past with the MIO card.
