Thus far, I have thoroughly tested the AW 18 with the following GPU's: 770M SLI, 860M SLI & 880M SLI.
I gamed with all 3 setups on Ultra settings maxed out; using the following games: Need For Speed Rivals, Battlefied 4, Crysis 1,2,3, Titanfall & Watch_Dogs.
The 770M SLI outperformed the 860M SLI by a long-shot!
Gaming with the 770M on all of the games mentioned above was a great experience. The only games that ran somewhat sluggish were Crysis 3 & Watch_Dogs, but lowering just a few minor settings still makes for a very good gaming experience.
The 860M SLI was sluggish with Battlefield 4, Crysis 2,3, Titanfall and especially Watch_Dogs. When I say sluggish, I mean choppy. The settings had to be lowered significantly to see playable game-play. While playing Watch_Dogs for an hour, one of the 860M SLI VC's died.
The 880M SLI (no surprise here at all) plays through everything maxed out like a hot knife through butter. There is no mode you can enable in any of the above mentioned games' settings to make this GPU glitchy in any way, shape or form. It is absolute game-play pleasure from A-Z.
Can anyone recommend any other games I can test to push the graphics limits to the max.?.
