Reformatting Windows 8 on mSATA SSD - Alienware 14

Hi, I just bought an Alienware 14 yesterday knowing that  Windows 8 is installed on the SSD and I can install games on it, but upon buying it, I failed to notice that it's just mSATA SSD caching (64GB). So It's only used for caching.

I researched thoroughly if its possible to use the mSATA SSD and found in this forum that I can edit a setting on the BIOS to set up SATA to AHCI then reinstall the OS again. Can you please help me the more precise steps to reinstalling it on SSD? It's my first time using windows 8 as well.

I'm quite afraid that by installing it incorrectly will make me unable to use alienware-customized softwares that are available on the currently installed OS on my computer right now (AlienFx, etc).

Please help me reinstalling it on my SSD where everything will be the same just like the currently installed OS on my laptop right now(OS, programs that are there by default upon buying the laptop, drivers). I really want to reformat it before I install games. Thanks in advance!
