Alienware 18 , less than 3 day old, rubber matte/soft touch skin peeling

I received my alienware 18 laptop on Tuesday 12/17/13 and I have only been using it for a few days in my home and already the soft touch is peeling off!  I see that many others are having this problem but it is usually after 4 months or longer.  What should I do about this?  I paid a lot of money and I thought I was going to get a quality product but now I feel like I paid for a cheap Chinese knock off.  To say I am disappointed is an understatement.  I love the laptop and the big screen but I feel like if this is happening in only a few days this thing will not last one year, or will look like a piece of junk in 1 year.  I cannot afford to spend this kind of money on a PC often, the last one I purchased was 3.5 years ago.  What should I do in this case?  Return the product?  If I return it they are going to charge a restocking fee?  Even if they replace the finish wont this happen again? Seems to be a common problem.  I wish I could get it without this rubber finish and instead with a metal finish that will last.  Its like they make these things to wear out so you have to buy a new one.  What should I do?
