Hello all,
I seem to be having a major issue with my Dell Alienware M18xR2 laptop. I have had it for about a year and 3 months now, and have as such had no major issues with the computer and enjoyed having a good performance machine.
Yesterday, however, I was working around the house, listening to music on iTunes and it stopped working. At first I thought maybe it had gone into a sleep mode cycle or something, but that wasn't the case as I pressed the power button to turn it off and back on. I get all the glowing lights on the kb (minus the "lock" key lights) and the alien head on the back of the monitor doesn't light up. I can't really hear the HDs starting up either. It makes no beeping sounds what-so-ever. The fans are moving, but no matter how many times I restart it, whether I use just the AC adapter (without the battery in) or just use the battery without the AC adapter in, it doesn't seem to turn anything else on.
I was reading on some forums about someone having this issue and it was his Motherboard that went out. Anyone have any suggestions? Or am I just out of luck?
